RIP André Leon Talley

You were hands down the best part of The September Issue and quote it daily 13 years since it first premiered and no plans of stopping.

I’m incapable of surmising his prolific career, work ethic, and impeccable sense of style in only a few sentences. So, I am quoting the incredible author Brandon Taylor from his public statement honoring ALT in ll of the worth he deserves.

“André Leon Talley. A true American genius and original. To me personally, an example of how to be Black, big, Southern, and unashamed of taking up space because you deserve it. But what most came through in his memoir is how much he LOVED this world and the people in it.
